I was also thinking about all the things you see – and don’t see – out cycling, from illicit lovers to bent coppers, and about how we live such unnatural lives. Two years ago and it seemed a lousy world whichever way I turned; I realized I was witnessing Red Kites learning how to live with humans, and some cyclists were just bad ambassadors – for cycling, and for the local bike shop.
