Previously: Toot~Wet Leaves~Puny~Superstition~Leaves~The Devil~Drizzle

Just last year, I was blowing my own trumpet having won a cycling-related writing competition with ‘The Race’; and the bad weather of the time was making me reflect on how puny we are in the face of nature – and how the way we continue on is a defeat of rationality. I also offered some tips for riding in Autumnal conditions. Back in 2011, I was very aware of my own stupidity when it comes to superstition and punctures; I was getting leaves blown in my face; it was time for the devil to be invoked (again); and I was wondering if there is anything as evocative as ‘drizzle’.
