The first week of 2013 was about low blood sugar and the lack of rationality that results; was about riding around the floods and the litter and the inappropriateness of any ‘feel good’ factor for a society with so many disaffected members; and was about reacting to open-air art. The same week in 2012 prompted thoughts about change and the future, about dying in a genuine accident, about whether or not to get angry, and about the unclear pleasure to be had from helping strangers. (It also led to the creation of the Hengistbury Scale.)
